As precious metals prices have risen over the past few years, hundreds of jewellers, cheque cashing companies and other small buyers have appeared offering to pay “cash for gold, silver and old coins”. Canadian Estate Jewellers has been a leading professional buyer of precious metals since 1987. Rather than just offering “cash” for your items, we are usually able to offer the highest buy prices available anywhere in Canada for your estate jewellery.
We value our excellent reputation, and always strive to make the sale of your collection a pleasant and rewarding experience. Where you go can make a big difference in what you get paid and what kind of experience you have. At Canadian Estate Jewellers, our professional buyers always pay fair prices based on the greater of the precious metal value or the collector value. We will explain the basis for all prices paid so you can be confident about each item you sell. We are always ready to buy and will make immediate cash or equivalent payment.

By following these simple suggestions, shipping risks are minimal:
- Package your items very securely. For high value shipments, we recommend using a box or other packaging inside a second box, with both the outer and inner box addressed. This protects against the unlikely event of the outer box being torn or damaged in shipping.
- Address the package without advertising the value. We recommend not to put a declared value on the outside of the package, unless the package is coming from outside Canada and it is required for Customs.
Address the package to:

- If you are shipping a package valued at more than $25,000, please contact us in advance to arrange for insurance.
